Yourself and Yours Dir: Hong Sang-soo
The relationship between Minjung and painter Young-soo is on the rocks because gossip about her spending nights completely drunk with other men. Her emotional and romantic boyfriend thinks he knows his girl, does not want to believe the chatter, but breaks down after an argument and leaves. Lovesick, he then tries to seek her out all over the city to amend his mistake (the city in Hong’s film is actually only a few blocks). Meanwhile, she – but is it really her? – meets other men, who claim to know her really well, though they may be mistaken. A doppelganger? Who is this girl?
